Introduction

The Department of Commercial Design was initially established in 1984 under Collage of Business. It later joined with the Department of Architecture Design and Interior Design to form College of Design in Sep. 1992. In Oct. 1997, the 19,525 square feet Commercial Design building was officially in place to serve better education quality with better facilities and abundant space. The limited enrollment undergraduate program is to make sure the best teaching quality. In Sep. of 1999, the graduate program of Commercial Design was established and followed by the graduate program for working professionals. The department activity engages in hosting activities to cultivate talents with high competitiveness and professional skills.
