Chung Yuan Christian University’s College of Business, together with the Global Taiwanese Businessman Research Center, hosted the “Smart Technology Innovation Application Forum” on April 29, 2024. The forum explored the innovative development and application of smart technology in areas such as smart cities, digital currency, and GPU technology. The event featured several industry-leading speakers, showcasing the college’s active exploration and advancement in the field of smart technology. It provided students with opportunities to engage with cutting-edge technologies and practical applications, while also promoting close collaboration between industry and academia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Smart Technology Innovation Application Forum focused on emerging smart technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, and blockchain. It discussed the integration and cross-domain applications of these technologies, which not only create new value ecosystems but also contribute to the formation of innovative business models. This helps governments and industries better drive digital transformation and achieve more proactive results in the field of smart technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NVIDIA Taiwan regional sales manager, Yu Yi, shared the innovative applications of NVIDIA RTX for AI. This technology simulates actual lighting environments and utilizes AI, ray tracing, reconstruction, and DLSS to revolutionize game creation. NVIDIA’s Avatar Cloud Engine (ACE) technology allows game, tool, and middleware developers to apply generative AI models to the digital avatars in their games and applications. By leveraging cloud and edge AI computing power, this enhances the gaming experience. The innovative applications of the NVIDIA RTX platform are driving the advancement of AI technology, bringing forth a wealth of new ideas, products, and applications that are rapidly developing at an astounding pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
