Together, they have worked to train local information technology and English language teacher-mentors, and set up courses for children in rural areas. They have also used the internet to collect raincoats to ensure that children&#8217;s learning is not disrupted by the weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chung Yuan University&#8217;s Cambodia overseas program provides a variety of services, including IT education, artistic creation, English storybook teaching, and village English teacher empowerment workshops. They assist local librarians and teachers in using the arts to support the growth of children in rural areas. They also cultivate IT and English language teacher-mentors to spark the local students&#8217; interest in learning English. Furthermore, they have launched English teaching workshops to guide rural teachers in adopting lively and engaging teaching methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the rainy climate in the local area, children in rural Cambodia often have to walk to school in the rain. Chung Yuan students have initiated a raincoat collection drive to help.
