This year, 159 teams registered, and after intense competition, 121 teams advanced to the finals, showcasing remarkable creativity, technical prowess, and insight into technological innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MSI Associate Vice President Wen-Chieh Chien highlighted the strong partnership between MSI and CYCU\u2019s ECE College, emphasizing their support for talent cultivation, internships, and professional guidance. He described the competition as a vital platform for students to display creativity and problem-solving skills alongside academic achievements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The projects covered a wide range of fields, including artificial intelligence, smart management systems, and optoelectronic components. Judges praised the high-quality and forward-thinking concepts presented. Their project, <em>&#8220;Anti-Reflective Nanostructures of Ge-on-Si by Metal-Assisted Chemical Etching,&#8221;<\/em> utilized a low-cost metal-assisted chemical etching method to create anti-reflective structures on Ge-on-Si substrates fabricated via liquid-phase epitaxy (LPE). The system enhances the efficiency of public resource usage and improves dormitory living experiences, achieving both smart functionality and sustainable development goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CYCU\u2019s College of Electrical and Computer Engineering emphasizes the integration of academic excellence with rich humanistic qualities as part of its holistic education philosophy. Recognizing artificial intelligence as a core trend in future industries, the college prioritizes cultivating students with diverse thinking and interdisciplinary skills.
