According to the latest report from the global academic impact assessment platform ScholarGPS, Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) ranks 460th in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering, 722nd in Engineering and Computer Science, and 1,241st in overall performance. Additionally, multiple CYCU professors have been honored among the top 0.5% of scholars worldwide across all fields, demonstrating the university\u2019s outstanding contributions to the international academic community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
CYCU\u2019s Office of Research and Development stated that ScholarGPS encompasses over 200 million publications worldwide, including journal articles, books, book chapters, conference papers, and patents. These are classified into 14 broad fields, 177 disciplines, and more than 350,000 specialized domains. Based on different publication definitions, ScholarGPS identifies the top 0.5% of scholars globally across all fields, disciplines, and specialized domains. The rankings are categorized into the “Top 0.5% Scholars in the Past Five Years” and the “Top 0.5% Scholars for Lifetime Contributions,” with evaluations based on multiple indicators, including publication volume, total citations, and research impact (h-index), among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
