Led by Professor Chen Yung-Hsiang, a team of eight students engaged in project development and English-language presentations based on their coursework in IoT system design. The initiative highlighted the program\u2019s achievements in smart technology education and the students\u2019 strong hands-on capabilities. Using teaching platforms and tools donated by Holtek Semiconductor and the Taiwan Creative STEAM Education Association, the projects were presented at Nanyang Polytechnic and received high praise from local faculty and students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The showcased projects included \u201cFUNNY PILL MACHINE,\u201d a playful human-machine interaction to ease the negative emotions of taking medication; \u201cINTELLIGENT IDENTIFICATION DEFENSE SYSTEM,\u201d an autonomous vehicle simulating ground-based anti-drone defense; \u201cROOM READER ASSISTANT,\u201d providing context-aware translation suggestions using real-time image and emotion detection; and \u201cSKIRT GUARDIAN,\u201d a dual-sensor system combining image recognition and network detection to prevent illicit photography.
