The event served as a high-impact platform for international exchange, highlighting the frontier potential of zwitterionic technologies in biomedical applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The forum addressed the growing global demand for precision medicine and next-generation vaccine delivery technologies. It explored the use of zwitterionic materials to enhance biocompatibility, regulate immune response, and enable advanced drug delivery systems. Organized by CYCU\u2019s Thin Film Center in collaboration with the NSTC Industry\u2013Academia Technology Alliance Program, the forum also engaged key industry partners, including Formosa Plastics, TCI Biotech, Proteme, St. Shine Optical, Preibio, ComPro Medical, and Conforlab. This diverse participation fostered an integrated innovation network across research, development, and clinical validation for biomedical applications of zwitterionic materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The forum featured three core themes. Their talks covered cutting-edge advances in antifouling applications, biomedical interface design, and membrane separation engineering, showcasing Taiwan\u2019s strong capabilities in this emerging scientific field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The forum also featured dedicated sessions for young researchers and graduate students to engage directly with internationally renowned scholars. These face-to-face exchanges expanded academic horizons and laid a solid foundation for future Taiwan\u2013U.S. collaborations in joint research, international publications, and talent cultivation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Professor Yung Chang, Director of CYCU\u2019s Thin Film Technology Center, stated, \u201cThis forum not only deepened substantive cooperation with leading U.S. universities, but also integrated mechanisms from the NSTC\u2019s Engineering Mid-Career Scholar Elevation Program and the Industry\u2013Academia Technology Alliance.
