The module officially launched on October 1, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This marks CYCU\u2019s second Jean Monnet Module award, following Associate Professor Lin Hsiao-Wei from the Department of Architecture in 2023, further highlighting the university\u2019s international influence in European studies, intercultural education, and digital innovation in teaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The UDAEUEU project aims to cultivate students\u2019 understanding of European Union culture, politics, and social issues through interdisciplinary course design and innovative teaching methods. Beyond course implementation, project outcomes will be released as Open Educational Resources (OERs) to promote knowledge sharing and sustainable impact of European studies within Taiwan\u2019s higher education system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Professor Lu Yi-Chun noted that Taiwanese students have long been trained primarily under English- and American-oriented language and cultural frameworks, with limited exposure to the European Union\u2019s operations and culture.
