Continuing its mission to cultivate practice-oriented technological talent, the competition focused on innovative theoretical and practical AI applications in R&amp;D, attracting 220 teams. Divided into Project Development and Creative Proposal categories, the event emphasized transforming classroom knowledge into feasible technological solutions, with 54 finalist teams presenting their work on site. Evaluated by academic and industry experts, many entries demonstrated strong integration of AI in engineering processes, open-source applications, and real-world problem solving. He encouraged students to cherish this platform that bridges academia and industry, turn mentorship and guidance into growth, and strive to become professionals who can one day contribute back to society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In terms of competition results, the Gold Award in the Project Development category was presented to the team \u201cIntelligent Dental Implant Path Planning and Peri-Implantitis Analysis Based on Deep Learning and Geometric Reasoning.\u201d Their AI-driven dental imaging analysis system integrates deep learning with geometric analysis to automatically detect missing teeth, predict implant paths, and evaluate peri-implant inflammation. Utilizing the YOLOv8-Seg model for tooth and implant segmentation, the system achieved an impressive mAP50 accuracy of 97.78% with an inference time of less than one second, demonstrating strong application potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"5472\" height=\"3648\"
