CYCU Launches \u201cUniversity Experience\u201d Series in March."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>After the General Scholastic Ability Test (GSAT) results were released in late February, students have begun preparing their application materials and selecting university programs. Chi Teng-Yuan, Dean of Admissions at Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU), encourages students to visit campuses and learn about different departments and learning environments, which can help them make more informed decisions when choosing programs and preparing their application portfolios. He also reminds students that with the increasing use of AI tools, application materials should adhere to the principles of ethics and authenticity to maintain credibility and ensure better interview performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To support students in exploring their academic interests, CYCU will launch a series of \u201cUniversity Experience\u201d activities starting in March. On March 7, an education counseling expert will host a seminar on program selection and admission analysis, helping students identify suitable academic paths. A separate session introducing CYCU\u2019s Bachelor\u2019s Program in Semiconductor Industry will also be held, presenting its curriculum, learning plan, and future career prospects in the rapidly developing global semiconductor industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CYCU notes that the Bachelor\u2019s Program in Semiconductor Industry, approved by the Ministry of Education and set to enroll its first cohort in 2026, is designed with a focus on industry orientation, interdisciplinary integration, and hands-on learning. The program aims to cultivate professionals with strong engineering foundations and system integration capabilities through collaboration with industry partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to seminars, CYCU will organize department exploration and hands-on experience activities on the same day, allowing students to explore different fields and gain insights that can guide their program choices and portfolio preparation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CYCU also emphasizes responsible use of AI in application materials. While AI can assist with information gathering and language refinement, students should avoid generating content solely through AI or submitting AI-produced materials directly. If AI is used in projects or creative work, it should be clearly indicated.
