CYCU’s Industry-Academia Collaboration and Operation Office, in charge of the “Industry Accelerator and Incubation Center,” organized the “Taoyuan Innovation Image Hall” for the 2023 Meet Taipei Innovation and Entrepreneurship Carnival. The grand exhibition took place at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 2. This marks the seventh consecutive year of collaboration between CYCU and the Taoyuan City Government in establishing the Taoyuan Pavilion. The initiative assists in creating a crucial platform for connecting Taoyuan’s startups internationally, making CYCU a vital partner in the development of innovation and entrepreneurship for the Taoyuan City Government, contributing jointly to the growth of the city’s startup industry.
President Li Yingming stated that startups are the key to future economic development and the driving force behind Taiwan’s industrial transformation and upgrading. CYCU adheres to the “utilization of creativity, stimulation of innovation, and embracing entrepreneurship” spirit in education, guiding students to integrate interdisciplinary knowledge. The university aims to cultivate “creative thinking,” “innovative capabilities,” and an “entrepreneurial spirit” to foster talent that meets the needs of industrial development.
