In response to the rapid changes in technology and the global development trends of industries, CYCU has formed a partnership with Temple University in the United States to establish the “Physics and Electrical Engineering Dual-Degree Program.” This marks Temple University’s first interdisciplinary 3+2 dual-degree program in physics and electrical engineering in Taiwan. Through this program, CYCU physics students with a science background can delve into electrical engineering, and potentially pursue employment in the U.S. market, becoming sought-after international talents in the interdisciplinary field of technology.
The College of Science at CYCU officially launched the 3+2 “Physics and Electrical Engineering Dual-Degree Program” with Temple University starting from the academic year 112. Students can obtain both a Bachelor’s degree in physics from CYCU and a Master’s degree in electrical engineering from Temple University within a five-year timeframe. This provides Taiwanese students with an economical and expedited pathway to obtain a U.S. degree. Students also have the opportunity to engage in internships and overseas studies offered by Temple University, enhancing their cross-cultural thinking and building international competitiveness in the job market.
