Chung Yuan Christian University, with its outstanding international reputation, concluded the Nuremberg International Exhibition of Inventions in late October. The university presented five entries, ultimately winning 2 gold and 2 silver awards. These innovative inventions and technological achievements showcased the university’s strong capabilities on the international stage, bringing honor to the country.
The 75th Nuremberg International Exhibition of Inventions (iENA), held for three days from October 28th, is the world’s largest and oldest invention exhibition, drawing considerable attention and high acclaim from various countries. In 2023, there were over 500 entries from 30 countries, with the Taiwanese delegation earning a remarkable total of 33 medals. Chung Yuan Christian University’s winning faculty members included Yu-Kun Lai and Yu-Ping Liao from the Department of Electrical Engineering, who received gold awards, and Yung Ding from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Yong Zhang from the Department of Chemical Engineering, who were honored with silver awards.
