On April 9th, CYCU defeated National Taiwan Normal University and successfully defended their title as the champions of the 111th National Intercollegiate Volleyball League Open Men’s Division. Tseng Hsiang-Ming was awarded the Most Valuable Player.
In addition to the MVP, Lin Chien from Chung Yuan Christian University was awarded Best Setter, Li Ni-Xi-Mi was awarded Best Outside Hitter, and Kan Mao-Hung was awarded Best Middle Blocker.
Both sides had equally strong offenses, with Chung Yuan Christian University slightly ahead with a score of 38-33 in attack points. However, Chung Yuan had an overwhelming advantage in blocking points, with a score of 13-6.
