Times Higher Education (THE) has published its 2023 World University Rankings. Compared with other universities in Taiwan, CYCU came in fourth place in the subject of physical sciences and sixth in engineering, which were the best performances among all the private schools. Meanwhile, in the 2022-2023 U.S. News Best Global University Rankings,CYCU was ranked first in Taiwan for chemical engineering and polymer science.
The THE has listed CYCU in four subjects for five consecutive years. This year, CYCU is ranked in the 801-1000 range for physical sciences, 601-800 for business and economics, and 801+ for computer science. THE ranks schools based on their performance across a set of indicators, including teaching, research, citations, industry income, and international outlook.
