CYCU Teams Won Five Awards at the iENA and Helped People with Their Inventions

On October 30^th, the prestigious Nuremberg Inventors’ Fair iENA 2022 concluded. The Taiwanese delegation bagged five gold medals, two of which were won by the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Chemical Engineering at CYCU. CYCU’s five entries won two gold medals, one silver medal, one bronze medal, and one special prize from Thailand, demonstrating excellent performance.

IENA is the biggest and oldest trade fair for inventions in the world. This year, it was held from October 27^th to October 30^th. In 2022, 26 countries attended iENA, and there were more than 500 submissions. The Taiwanese delegation had performed well and received 21 medals in total. CYCU awarded professors were listed as follows:

Gold Medal—Ting, Yung (Department of Mechanical Engineering)

Gold Medal—Liu,Wei-Jen (Department of Chemical Engineering)

Silver Medal—Chang, Yung (Department of Chemical Engineering)

Bronze Medal—Huang, Yu-Tzu (Department of Chemical Engineering)

Special Prize from Thailand—Chen, Shih-Lun (Department of Electronic Engineering) and Chen, Hsiao-Chi (Department of Business Administration)
