Chung Yuan Christian University’s Thin Film Technology R&D Center and Japan’s National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) Center for Polymeric and Biomaterial Materials have signed a cooperation agreement. This is the first time NIMS has signed an MOU with a research center at an overseas university, which holds significant importance for promoting international industry-academia collaboration between Japan and Taiwan, driving technological innovation, and strengthening talent cultivation. It also symbolizes the initiation of a new collaboration between the two parties in the fields of thin-film technology and polymeric biomaterial research.
NIMS is a national research institute and one of Japan’s leading materials research organizations. Going forward, its collaboration with Chung Yuan Christian University will see substantial developments in areas such as cutting-edge materials research, technological innovation, international cooperation, talent cultivation, and global industry-academia partnerships.By combining the strengths of both parties, the partnership is expected to further drive research and innovation in the fields of polymer science and thin-film technology, bringing new momentum and opportunities to international industry-academia collaboration.
