2024 CYCU EECS International Summer Camp Kicks Off.

To enhance the international perspective and practical skills of Chung Yuan Christian University students, the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at CYCU is hosting the “Second International Summer Project Camp: 2024 CYCU EECS Summer Camp Program” from August 1 to August 21. This year’s enrollment saw a significant increase, with a total of 176 participants, including 133 international students and 8 foreign instructors. The College has organized 43 students and over 25 faculty members to collaboratively guide this three-week multinational project-based learning journey.

This year’s camp, in addition to offering a rich array of lectures and project-based activities, has also organized special cultural exchange sessions focused on the cultures of Japan, the Philippines, and Taiwan. These sessions are designed to help students from different countries gain a deeper understanding of each other’s cultural backgrounds, thereby broadening their international perspectives and fostering a diverse, global learning environment. The courses aim not only to impart knowledge but also to use cultural exchange as a means to bridge gaps between participants, enhancing their ability to communicate and collaborate on an international level.

The successful hosting of this camp not only demonstrates Chung Yuan Christian University’s strength in international education but also provides participants with a valuable platform for learning and exchange. CYCU remains committed to advancing internationalized education, creating more opportunities for students to learn and grow, and achieving the goal of “bringing CYCU to the world, and the world to CYCU.”
