CYCU–Temple 2+2 Program Cultivates Global Business Talent.

Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) has partnered with the Fox School of Business at Temple University (USA) since 2017 to offer the Business Administration Dual Bachelor’s Degree Program (CYCU–Temple 2+2 Program). The program enables students to earn bachelor’s degrees from both universities within four years, fostering global academic mobility and professional competitiveness.

Now in its eighth year, the program has produced three cohorts of graduates, whose achievements in further study and career development have been outstanding.

On February 6, 2026, the program was invited to an ICRT radio interview to share its accomplishments in international education. Program Director Professor Yi-Hua Lee, along with alumni Ann and Alex, discussed their cross-cultural learning experiences, overseas adaptation, and post-graduation career paths, highlighting the program’s success in cultivating global business talent.

Program Director Professor Yi-Hua Lee noted that, compared with independently applying to overseas universities, the CYCU–Temple 2+2 Program offers structured academic support and a small-class learning environment that fosters close peer networks. Students complete foundational and pre-major business courses at CYCU during their first two years, followed by advanced major coursework at Temple University in the United States during their junior and senior years. With comprehensive institutional support and resources, students are able to build their competencies step by step, transition smoothly into overseas study and life, and reduce the risks and pressures often associated with studying abroad.

Professor Lee further highlighted the outstanding achievements of program alumni. For example, Ann, who majored in Management Information Systems (MIS), currently works as a front-end engineer in the aviation industry, while Alex has pursued a career in startup fundraising and venture capital. Other graduates have joined multinational corporations in international business and finance roles, and some have successfully gained admission to top-ranked graduate schools worldwide, including institutions ranked among the top ten in the QS World University Rankings. These accomplishments demonstrate the program’s effectiveness in cultivating professional competence and global competitiveness.

During the radio interview, Ann shared that she had dreamed of studying abroad since high school and was attracted by the opportunity to earn dual degrees within four years. She emphasized that the supportive learning environment at CYCU and abundant academic resources in the United States helped her grow rapidly, with “initiative” being the most valuable takeaway. Alex also noted that Temple University’s highly international environment allowed him to interact with students from diverse backgrounds, significantly improving his English communication skills and confidence. The global perspective and cross-cultural competence developed through the program have had a lasting impact on his career in the startup and venture capital sector.

Temple University is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, near New York City and Washington, D.C., providing students with diverse internship and career opportunities. The Fox School of Business offers 16 major options, allowing students to explore their interests during the first two years and then select a specialized field in the final two years, creating an academic pathway closely aligned with industry needs.

CYCU noted that the CYCU–Temple 2+2 Dual Bachelor’s Degree Program provides a stable and efficient pathway for students aspiring to study abroad, enabling them to earn dual degrees within four years while seamlessly connecting to the global education system and workforce. Students from all academic backgrounds are welcome to apply, as long as they demonstrate strong interest in business studies and international development. The program aims to help students build professional expertise and global competitiveness, opening broader opportunities for their future.
