During NVIDIA GTC Taipei 2026, Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) once again hosted a livestream of NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote address, attracting enthusiastic participation from students and technology enthusiasts across campus. As artificial intelligence continues to evolve from generative AI toward a new era of real-time reasoning, registration for the event quickly reached capacity, reflecting strong interest among young people in emerging AI trends and future career opportunities.

In addition to the livestream of the keynote address, the Watch Party featured next-generation high-performance AI gaming laptops provided by MSI, powered by NVIDIA’s latest architecture. The hands-on showcase gave students an opportunity to experience advanced AI computing capabilities and high-performance graphics processing firsthand. The event also included prize giveaways featuring GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards, limited-edition NVIDIA T-shirts, and MSI gaming handheld devices, further enhancing the excitement and engagement of participants.

In recent years, Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) has actively invested in AI education and interdisciplinary digital talent development, while continuing to strengthen its collaboration with NVIDIA in AI teaching and technology outreach. According to NVIDIA, CYCU currently has seven faculty members certified as Deep Learning Institute (DLI) University Ambassadors, the highest number of DLI-certified instructors among universities in Taiwan, demonstrating the University’s strong commitment to advancing AI education and faculty development.
Among them, three DLI-certified faculty members from the Department of Information Management—Shih-Ming Pi, Kuo-Cheng Lee, and Hao-En Chueh—have partnered with the Taoyuan Youth Affairs Bureau to promote the Digital Talent Development Program. Through the NVIDIA Fundamentals of Deep Learning Workshop, they provide hands-on training that helps students and young professionals develop industry-relevant AI skills. Participants who complete the program earn NVIDIA’s official certification in the fundamentals and practical applications of deep learning, providing valuable credentials for further study, career development, and interdisciplinary opportunities.

CYCU noted that, as AI technologies continue to evolve rapidly and global demand for AI talent grows, the University will further integrate resources from academia, industry, and government to expand AI education and digital talent development initiatives. By helping students and young professionals understand emerging AI trends and develop interdisciplinary application skills, CYCU aims to cultivate a new generation of talent equipped with both technical expertise and industry insight, while continuing to fulfill its commitment to social responsibility and sustainable talent development.
