CYCU and KU Leuven Launch Inaugural Neural Probe Workshop, Bridging Semiconductors and Brain Technology.

CYCU and KU Leuven co-hosted the 2026 CYCU-Leuven Joint International Workshop: Advancing from Semiconductors to Neural Probes on September 7–8. Bringing together experts from KU Leuven, UCLouvain, Europe’s neurotechnology industry, and Taiwan’s academic, industry, government, and research sectors, the workshop explored advances in neural probes, brain-computer interfaces, neuromodulation, semiconductor fabrication, and artificial intelligence. The event highlighted CYCU’s efforts to strengthen interdisciplinary research and international collaboration at the intersection of semiconductor technology and brain science.
