On October 20, 2026, CYCU welcomed a delegation from the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Global Systems Laboratory (GSL) to explore opportunities for international research collaboration. Discussions focused on AI-driven earth system research, climate and environmental applications, health risk assessment, and interdisciplinary innovation. Both sides also exchanged views on potential joint research initiatives, student and researcher exchanges, and future institutional partnerships, laying the groundwork for stronger scientific collaboration between Taiwan and the United States.
