CYCU hosts the first “National Business Big Data” Innovation Competition.

In the trend of data-driven transformation across various industries worldwide, establishing relationships with future talents from the campus side has become a common challenge faced by all industries. The first “National Commercial Big Data” innovation competition, organized by the Ministry of Education, the College of Business at CYCU, and the Global Taiwanese Business Research Center, in collaboration with Big Data Corporation, is now in full swing. Students from colleges and universities nationwide are welcome to participate in the competition, accumulate personal digital innovation capabilities, and enhance their future competitiveness in the workplace.

The College of Business at CYCU stated that with the emergence of innovative technologies such as AI and big data, they have gradually become important cores for many industries to promote digital transformation and develop innovative services. The university is executing the “Humanities, Social Sciences and Industry Practice Innovation Linkage Program” of the Ministry of Education, and the “Smart Technology Promoting Enterprise Intelligent Transformation” sub-project is being combined with the industry to hold the “National Business Big Data” competition, encouraging students to use business thinking as a starting point, and to use the “KEYPO Big Data Keyword Engine” to provide accurate public opinion search and analysis, charting functions, to discover insightful and creative analysis reports that meet industry needs.

Participating students can set their own business topics, such as management, finance, economics, international trade, information management, sustainability, and analyze online public opinion and data. Big Data Corporation also provides two insight reports for students to refer to: “NFT encrypted art strategy – revealing marketing application value” and “New opportunities in the post-pandemic era of beauty – in-depth consumer demand insight”. The Chief Operating Officer of Big Data Corporation, Chiang Chih-wei, pointed out that they hope to strengthen the link between academia and industry by having participating teams learn how to use Martech marketing technology tools to generate creative and trend-driven insight analysis reports, thereby enhancing their personal competitiveness.
