The 2022 InnoServe Awards were held by the Ministry of Digital Affairs and the Ministry of Education, which drew 5020 outstanding students from 102 schools and 7 delegations from Asia-Pacific economies. CYCU Department of Information Management (IM) had three teams that each took first place in a separate category. The team instructed by professor Chih-Yu Chin has won five consecutive awards in the category of industry-academia collaboration. The projects of other CYCU students were also recognized, including “Whosfaker,” which uses big data and AI to identify fake accounts, “MetaKTV,” which develops a new Karaoke model for the post-pandemic world; and “I NOTE YOU,” a co-note for distance teaching. CYCU IM successfully applies knowledge and meets the needs of society.
