In terms of Academic Cluster Employability, CYCU’s Engineering and Mathematics & Physical Sciences clusters ranked second, while Architecture and Design ranked third among private general universities, demonstrating strong overall performance.
CYCU stated that this recognition affirms its long-term commitment to holistic education and interdisciplinary, hands-on learning, with its talent development outcomes continuing to earn strong endorsement from industry and society, setting a benchmark for higher education excellence.

The 2026 University Brand Power Awards Ceremony hosted by 104 Job Bank brought together representatives from universities across Taiwan. Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) was represented by Secretary General Kang-Tsung Yen, who accepted the award and delivered remarks, with Deputy Minister of Education Chun-Chang Chu also attending the event. Based on an evaluation of over 120 universities using 12 key indicators and 105 sub-indicators, CYCU ranked 12th nationwide and No. 1 among private universities in the University Brand Power Top 20. Notably, CYCU placed fifth nationwide in Senior Leadership, surpassing several national universities and underscoring its role as both a cradle for engineers and a hub for future senior executives.

In addition, CYCU’s Engineering cluster emphasizes hands-on learning and strong industry collaboration, offering interdisciplinary courses and competitions in intelligent computing, AI, and quantum technologies to cultivate problem-solving and system integration skills. In the Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry fields, CYCU has partnered with industry to establish a semiconductor specialty chemicals R&D laboratory, and recently launched an immersive space and astronomy learning environment known as the “Starry Corridor.” The Department of Architecture has also established an AI Digital Manufacturing Laboratory to address industry demand for talent in smart manufacturing and sustainable design. These initiatives enhance students’ professional competence and employability, contributing to CYCU’s continued strong performance in Academic Cluster Employability rankings.

CYCU has long placed holistic education at the core of its mission, seeking harmony among heaven, humanity, nature, and the self, and fostering a balanced development of character, professional competence, care, and responsibility. In response to rapid changes in industry and technology, CYCU continues to strengthen disciplinary and interdisciplinary education while actively cultivating talent in AI, intelligent computing and quantum technologies, semiconductors, and other strategic fields. Through close industry collaboration and global engagement, students learn by addressing real-world challenges and grow within an international context.

To strengthen talent development from an early stage, Chung Yuan Christian University has partnered with the New Taipei City Department of Education since 2025 to launch the Quantum Applications Hub, integrating university-level quantum experiments, semiconductor testing, and teaching resources into interdisciplinary high school curricula. This initiative enables students to engage with frontier technologies and explore future career pathways at an earlier stage.
In parallel, CYCU’s Quantum Information Center collaborates with the UN-supported Social Impact Investment Foundation (SIIF-UN) to advance youth training and international learning programs that integrate quantum technologies with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reinforcing a seamless pathway from high school to university and strengthening students’ long-term global competitiveness.

CYCU President Ying-Ming Lee stated that being named No. 1 among private general universities in the Institutional Excellence Award by 104 Job Bank is a strong affirmation of the University’s overall educational quality. In response to evolving talent demands and rapid technological advancement, CYCU will continue to enhance teaching excellence and talent cultivation mechanisms to meet the expectations of society and industry. President Lee emphasized that the University is committed to helping every student build a solid foundation, find clear direction, and transform learning into future-ready capabilities. Guided by the vision of becoming a “benchmark university for cultivating future talent,” CYCU aims to nurture well-rounded graduates with professional expertise, interdisciplinary integration, and strong problem-solving skills.
