CYCU Professor Yi-Chih Hsu Transfers Innovative Nanomedicine Technology to Accelerate Precision Medicine Translation.
Professor Yi-Chih Hsu of CYCU’s Department of Biotechnology developed an innovative liposomal composite drug-loading platform that advances cancer drug delivery and nanoparticle formulation technologies. In November 2025, the platform was transferred to CYCU spin-off Hermes Nanomedicine, Inc., leading to a major licensing agreement that generated significant revenue for the university.
