The Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) Center for Quantum Information hosted the 2026 Training Program on Quantum Computing and its Advanced Applications from July 27 to 30, welcoming five faculty members from the Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP) for a four-day training program. Through lectures, hands-on programming, and model development, participants explored applications of quantum computing, quantum machine learning, and intelligent energy systems, strengthening both practical expertise and international collaboration in quantum education. The program opened with a keynote lecture by Chair Professor Ching-Ray Chang, who introduced the fundamentals and emerging applications of quantum computing in optimization, artificial intelligence, and interdisciplinary research.
