In response to global AI technology development trends and the demand for talent cultivation, Chung Yuan Christian University and NVIDIA signed a memorandum of understanding in March this year, announcing the establishment of the NVIDIA-Chung Yuan Christian University AI Application Development Joint Service Center. On April 12, the center held its first major event, the "Large Language Model Workshop" (LLM), marking an important milestone in the cultivation of AI talent in Taiwan.

The Thin Film Technology R&D Center of Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) and the Polymer and Biomaterial Research Center of the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) in Japan have signed a cooperation agreement. This is the first time NIMS has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with an overseas university research center, which is of great significance for promoting international industry-academia collaboration between Japan and Taiwan, driving technological innovation, and strengthening talent cultivation.

Chung Yuan Christian University has a long-term partnership with the Khmer Akphiwat Khmer Organization (KAKO) in Cambodia. Together, they have worked to train local information technology and English language teacher-mentors, and set up courses for children in rural areas. They have also used the internet to collect raincoats to ensure that children's learning is not disrupted by the weather.
